Ayurveda-inspired Elevated Bathing Rituals by UMM Skincare, rooted in Vedic intelligence

Vedic Intelligence and Ayurveda: The Lineage Behind Elevated Bathing Rituals®

Is UMM an Ayurvedic brand? UMM is Ayurveda-inspired, and its roots reach further still: into the Vedas, the classical texts and the daily rituals of Abhyanga, Udvartana, Snāna and Marma.

Udvartana: The Paste Before the Water

There is a paste the color of turmeric and turned earth, worked into the skin by hand, that has cleansed Indian brides, grandmothers and infants for longer than most civilizations have kept written records. Known in Sanskrit as Udvartana, it is one of the oldest skin care practices in the world. UMM traces its origins, its science and its place within Elevated Bathing Rituals®.
