The Exfoliating Ritual

After cleansing, while the skin is soft and warm, polish it with intention. Inspired by Udvartana and Utsādana, the classical Indian rites of polishing the body, this step refines texture and readies the skin to receive. Combine a small amount of The Golden Dust Ritual with water, milk, yogurt or a few drops of ritual oil and mix into a silky paste with the Mixer & Applicator, or reach for Luminous Glow Body Scrub, an oil-rich sugar polish with 24K Gold, Saffron and Bakuchi. Massage onto damp skin in slow, circular motions, let it rest for a few moments if you wish, then rinse. The skin is left smooth, luminous and ready for the nourishment that follows.
