A handcrafted Ayurvedic ritual instrument — rooted in over 5,000 years of Indian therapeutic tradition.

Crafted by skilled artisans in India, the UMM Signature Kansa Wand features two hand-finished domes cast from a sacred bronze alloy of copper and tin — the same metal formulation revered within Ayurvedic tradition for its unique bioelectric and skin-balancing properties.

Paired with a hand-carved sheesham wood handle — prized for its exceptional strength, rich natural grain, and grounding tactile warmth — this double-tipped wand glides effortlessly across the face, neck, body, and feet, supporting a range of therapeutic, lymphatic, and ritual applications.

Each piece reflects generations of Indian craftsmanship and the enduring intelligence of Kansa metal therapy — bringing together material, touch, and ritual in a way that is both deeply traditional and beautifully refined.

A ritual instrument within Elevated Bathing Rituals® — where ancient therapeutic science meets the art of daily restoration.

Inspired by Kansa Therapy

What distinguishes the Kansa Wand from any conventional facial tool is the metal itself. Kansa — a sacred bronze alloy of copper and tin — has been used within Ayurvedic healing traditions for thousands of years, understood to interact beneficially with the body's own bioelectric field. The Kansa alloy is naturally alkalizing on contact with the skin. As the dome glides across the skin's surface, it works to gently neutralize excess acidity, reduce inflammation, support the skin's natural pH balance, and restore a visible calm and clarity to the complexion. Copper contributes antimicrobial and collagen-supporting properties. Tin amplifies the alloy's balancing and bioelectric qualities. Together, they form a material with a therapeutic intelligence that no synthetic tool can replicate.

Rooted in Kansa Vatki — the ancient Ayurvedic foot and body treatment using hand-formed Kansa bowls to balance the doshas, calm the nervous system, draw heat from the body, and restore energetic equilibrium through therapeutic touch. Within classical Indian healing traditions, Kansa metal was considered one of the most beneficial substances for human contact — used in cooking vessels, medicinal instruments, and therapeutic tools for its ability to support detoxification, reduce internal heat (Pitta), and promote physical and mental calm.

The UMM Signature Kansa Wand brings this ancient healing tradition into the modern daily ritual — distilling thousands of years of Ayurvedic metallurgical wisdom into a beautifully crafted instrument for face, body, and whole-body restoration.

Materials & Design

Materials & Design

Kansa Bronze Alloy

A sacred alloy of copper and tin — the same metal used within Ayurvedic healing traditions for over 5,000 years for its unique bioelectric, alkalizing, and skin-balancing properties.

Copper

Contributes antimicrobial and collagen-supporting properties — a cornerstone of the alloy's therapeutic intelligence.

Tin

Amplifies the alloy's balancing and bioelectric qualities — working in harmony with copper to form a material with therapeutic properties no synthetic tool can replicate.

Sheesham Wood Handle

Hand-carved from Indian Rosewood — one of the hardest hardwoods in the world, traditionally associated with grounding and stability within Ayurvedic material philosophy.

Double-tipped design: larger dome for broad strokes, smaller dome for precision work around the eye area and contours.

Ritual Use

1
Face + Neck: Apply The Golden Ritual or The Royal Radiance Elixir to the skin first. Using the larger dome, glide in slow upward and outward strokes across the cheeks, jawline, forehead, and neck. Use the smaller dome for precision work around the orbital bone, temples, and brow.
2
Body: Apply The Golden Ritual to dry skin before showering. Use the larger dome in long, sweeping strokes along the limbs and circular movements around the joints and areas of tension — ideal for supporting lymphatic drainage.
3
Feet: Apply a few drops of ritual oil and use the larger dome in grounding circular movements across the soles and arches — mirroring the classical Kansa Vatki practice, deeply calming to the nervous system.
4
Breathe slowly. Work deliberately. Daily use deepens the cumulative benefits to skin tone, clarity, lymphatic flow, and energetic balance.
5
After use: wipe the Kansa domes with a soft damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. The bronze surface will naturally develop a patina over time — a mark of authentic Kansa metal. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
